A type of Font.
These are not true type fonts but alphabets where each letter is placed individually to spell the words. |
| Buttons |
Buttons(sewing buttons),
Can be metal, cloth or plastic in appearence. |
| Brads |
Decorative pin heads |
| Borders |
Decorative items to add round photos or pages. |
| Elements |
Items used to embellish the page. eg Paper clips, ribbons, tape, pins, stickers, lace, tags, studs, rivets etc. |
| Frames |
A frame surrounding a picture.
Can be of wood, metalic etc textured appearance |
| Journaling |
A short account of an event or a poem or saying inserted into pages as a record of an occassion. |
| Overlays |
A transparent layer used over a harsh background to soften the appearance.
In digi scrapping this effect could be done with filters if effect is required |
| Pages |
The page that you created. To PSP'ers it is the equivilent of a 'tag' but because these are made to add into an album it is therefore referred to as a Page. (not a webpage!) |
| Photo Mats |
A border or matte edge around a photo or picture. Between the photo/tube etc and the frame. |

Ploppers or QuickPages |
Complete page sets where you just insert journaling or photo, basically just 'plopping' a photo into place. The name was invented by Susie Walker |
| Vellum |
Translucent paper used as an overlay or to soften a background. Refers more to 'real' scrapping than digiscrapping but if that effect was needed then could be done with filters etc. |
